Bean is a Somerset native, born and raised, and has been employed at Bodean’s Tattoos since January of 2004.  She’s trained in both piercing and tattoo body modification, and will happily inflict pain upon you in either genre.  You can find her in the shop Monday-Wednesday and  Friday & Saturday.  Aside from work, Bean enjoys family life with her daughter, yoga, sewing, painting and talking too much.  But be warned, her looks change almost constantly, so don’t expect her to look like this picture when you stop by.

Becca started tattooing in July of 2007 under an apprenticeship at Body Language Tattoos in Somerset, KY.  After two years, she relocated to Studio Ink Tattoo in Danville and Lexington, KY.  She worked there from September of 2009 to April of 2011, and now works here at Bodean’s Tattoos in Somerset, KY.  Her favorite tattoos to do are new-school color bomb style stuff… anything with animals as well. Becca has a love for anything art-related… sketching, tattooing, and painting.  When not at work, you can find her reading novels, fishing, and maybe even letting off some steam at the shooting range.  Come on in and see her Monday and Tuesday, and Thursday through Saturday from 12-8.

Hi!  I’m Kris.  A Florida native who has made my home here in Somerset, Kentucky.  My love of body modification began almost 20 years ago when I went into a back room in a t-shirt shop in Panama City Beach to have my tongue pierced.  While studying Counseling Psychology in college, I delved more and more into the piercing and tattoo world.  After working as a mental health counselor for a while, my creative side got the best of me and I walked away from the 9 to 5 world to pursue my true loves: novel writing and body modification.  Ultimately, it led me to a proper piercing apprenticeship here at Bodean’s and a more recent tattoo apprenticeship with Bodean.  I do a myriad of piercings regularly; anything ranging from the basic navel ring to elaborate surface piercing designs and corsets, in addition to tattoos.  I am readily available at the shop and on facebook after shop hours (Kris At Bodeans...ADD ME!) to all of my customers for any aftercare concerns or questions they may have.  So, come on down to the shop and see me for your next body modification!  My normal hours are Tuesday through Saturday 12 noon—8pm.
